This Christmas we started out, on Christmas eve, with my parents and brother. Christmas day we headed out to Malachi's parents house (for some food, gifts and games), and then on Sunday we went with my parents and brother to see Tron in 3D at the Imax, and then came home and Malachi and I had our own Christmas. It was pretty busy, and a really great Christmas.
My family has never been into the Christmas cookie tradition, in fact, we never really even knew about the hype until recently. So I decided to bake some cookies. I made my favorites (which are always a hit with my family) and I tried out a new recipe, Pecan Pie Cookies:
They were...mediocre. I prefer pecan pie, but I just have a hard time eating pecan pie because I know what the ingredients are...and holy cow that's alot of corn syrup!

I can't believe you had to move! Makes me nervous that mine will run out someday... Love all the Christmas pictures and wowie, Jeremy got a big one! What was in that?
Ya, I was shocked too! I guess I didn't HAVE to move, but I'm too stubborn to delete past blogs, and I think it's ridiculous to have to pay (even though it's really cheap, but STILL). And ya, haha, that was a huge gift. It was just a comfortor though. He got sheets too because my parents gave him money to buy himself a mattress, because his bed is killing his back and he would never buy one himself I don't think.
