November Somethings

This past month, here is something I...

loved:

Thanksgiving!  I spent it with the in-laws this year.  I hardly see them even though we live just 40 minutes apart.  We had yummy food, played some Cranium, and of course...watched the Cowboys win!

listened to:

Michael Buble - Christmas.  I do like Mr. Buble, and he's got a great CD out for Christmas that I've listened to several times already.

watched:

The Cosby show, the end of season 2.  I just love that show.  Clean humor and it always gets me laughing.  And it has such great morals and values.  I've said it once, I'll say it again.  My kids are only going to be allowed to watch the Cosby Show, haha.

read:

Creation Health, an Adventist tiny little book on living healthy.  I'm not sure where I even got it.  It was a nice read, nothing ground breaking, but it's nice to be reminded of some things I should be doing!

learned:

The importance of church going.  I mean, I know the importance of church going.  But when a person (please don't judge me) works frequently on weekends and goes to continuing education frequently on weekends...Well, that makes for being really tired and lazy on the occasional weekend that is free.  And when you get into that mess, you get out of the wonderful habit of church.  And it's a dangerous thing.  Waking up on Saturday morning and choosing to not go to church.  It's ridiculous if you think about it, and that's what I've been doing lately, thinking about it.  Thinking about how ridiculous it is to choose lounging around over going to God's house.  Choosing reading a book, or checking my e-mail, or just sleeping, over going to spend time in worship with God and my church family.  So my hope is that in the future, no matter how much my life tries to exhaust me, I will remember this.  And that I will remember how simple of a decision it is!

And on that note, everyone have a beautiful Sabbath this weekend :)
