April Somethings (new and improved with some instagram photos)

 instagram @lyndseroo
from this past month, here is something I...

...loved:

Our anniversary.  We stayed at The Foshay, and they upgraded us to an incredibly large room on the 26th floor, overlooking Minneapolis.  We walked around the city during the day, eating yummy food and people watching.  And we walked over to the Orpheum to watch Mamma Mia.  It was a great anniversary.  Even in spite of Malachi unfortunately was sick and I unfortunately could not get much time off of work for it.  We still had a wonderful time!

...listened to:

...watched:

Season 2!  I liked season 1 a little better, but only because season 2 had so many things going on that the show couldn't keep up with itself.  They should have tried to spread those stories out a little more.  However, I'm definitely excited for season 3!

...read:

A little of Walking the Twin Cities.  While on our anniversary trip we did a couple of the walks in this book, it led me right into Cocoa & Fig for my first macaron!

...learned:
I've recently watched Forks over Knives, FoodMatters, and Food, Inc.  One of the things that stuck with me was that 51% of each meal should be uncooked to keep the body from having an immune response.  I don't know how true that is, but it seems like a good idea.  That would mean more salads, and that would definitely be a good thing.

I am so glad you posted something! I didn't want to be cut off too long. Looks like April was fun. I've thought about staying in a big hotel downtown and doing the city thing here in Lincoln...not as cool as Minneapolis definitely. Or Omaha. Omaha could be better because they have lots of restaurants and store we don't. I experienced Anthropologie for the first time just a couple weeks ago.
